Steve Woodbury has been been promoted to deputy director of the Nevada Commission on Tourism.
Woodbury, 41, previously worked as the agency's administrative services officer, a position he held since 2001. He replaces Nancy Dunn, who retired this month.
Before joining the tourism commission, Woodbury was a management analyst and a hearing officer for the Nevada State Health Division for six years and worked for the Washoe County Health District for two years previously.
He holds a bachelor's degree in international relations from the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies at Brigham Young University and a master of public administration degree from the Marriott School of Management at BYU.
