Theodore Kenneth Heims, wanted on a felony warrant issued by the Reno Justice Court for two counts of diversion of funds in an unlicensed contractor case, has turned himself into the Washoe County Sheriff's Office. Bail was set at $4,000.

The Contractor Interagency Task Force had obtained the warrant in April. In one case, the suspect allegedly took $5,724 from the City of Reno for the installation of low-voltage electronics and failed to produce materials or perform the contract.

In another situation, Heims allegedly received $29,840 from a Reno resident for the purchase of materials and the installation of an entertainment system. The suspect failed to fulfill the contract or deliver the materials.
