About 200 Teamster pressmen, production workers, technicians and other employees at Quebecor World in Fernley voted to approve a new three-year contract.
Approved by 81 percent of voting workers, the contract was secured about 18 months after the workers voted to become Teamsters, the union said last week. The contract's wage increases include an initial 3 percent raise retroactive to May, followed by 2.75 and 2.5 percent increases in the second and third years. Health care premium costs are capped under the contract.
