Frank Partlow

Frank Partlow has joined the business development group of Granite Construction Co. in Reno.

Prior to joining Granite, Partlow held presidential appointments as chief of staff to the public printer of the United States and special assistant to the public printer.

Previously, he worked in the U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency as director of estimates and served as the Joint Chiefs of Staff representative to the U.S. team that negotiated the Intermediate Range Nuclear Forces Treaty with the Soviet Union in 1987.

Partlow earned a master's degree from Stanford University, a bachelor's from the U.S. Military Academy, graduated from the National Defense University and was a senior fellow at Harvard University. He served 34 years in the Army.

He also founded and acted as executive director of the Northern Nevada Network and was an adjunct associate professor in political science at the University of Nevada, Reno.
