Jason Geddes, manager of government affairs for the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada, has been appointed by Gov. Kenny Guinn to the Nevada Board of Regents. He succeeds Doug Hill, who resigned.
Geddes graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno, with a bachelor's of science degree and later earned his doctorate in environmental science and health environmental chemistry from UNR.
