As the market for industrial space in northern Nevada continues to build steam, Panattoni Development Co. has a 200,100-square-foot building under construction at the Lear Industrial Center in Stead.
And the company has begun plans for another 390,000-square-foot building in the center.
Paul Kinne of Panattoni said the building known as Lear 200 that's being built by Panattoni Construction has about 36,000 square feet remaining for lease.
The other 168,000 square feet, he said, was taken off the market in a three-hour flurry of letters of intent from tenants this spring. Those leases are expected to be finalized in the next few weeks.
The building designed by Tectonics is scheduled for completion in August. It's marketed by Alliance Commercial of Reno.
The next building in Lear Industrial Center, Kinne said, will be built on the south side of the extension of Echo Avenue.
The center is master planned for approximately 1.6 million square feet of industrial space when it's completed.
