Jay Hafter has been named an associate in the business ventures practice group with Hale Lane in Reno.
He most recently was in-house legal counsel for a gaming corporation and previously worked as a private attorney on the East Coast practicing primarily in the health care field.
Hafter earned a bachelor's degree in emergency medical services management from George Washington University and a master's degree in health science from Cleveland State University.
He earned his law degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Currently, he is a University of the Sciences candidate to receive a doctorate in health policy. He also is a registered paramedic.
