The Bureau of Land Management said last week it's restored land information databases for public access.
Three lands and minerals databases that provide information to the public are now available: GeoCommunicator, Legacy Rehost 2000 System reports, and public eForms. These sites had been shut down by ongoing litigation relating to cyber security.
The LR2000 System draws particularly heavy use. It contains data public land use authorizations such as oil and gas leases and unpatented mining claims, as well as land ownership.
