A new state law allows Nevadans with physical disabilities who are unable to write their names to use a rubber signature stamp.

Rubber stamps can be used for all purposes where a signature is required including signing real estate contracts or signing in at election polling places and no special certification is required.

Signature stamps can be purchased from any retailer that sells them.

State officials encouraged businesses that routinely require signatures to educate their staffs about the new law.

The law can be found online at: http://leg.state.nv.us/NRS/NRS-426.html#NRS426Sec257.
