Mike Troy has joined Sonitrol of Reno as a security consultant.
Troy, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin system with a bachelor's degree in communications, worked more than 25 years as a manufacturer, several years in economic development and most recently as a consultant to small and medium sized businesses.
