Kaaran E. Thomas

Kaaran E. Thomas has joined McDonald Carano Wilson LLP in Reno.

Thomas is chairperson of the law firm's creditors' rights, bankruptcy and corporate restructuring group.

She previously was a partner at Vinson & Elkins, LLP in Houston. She has been an adjunct professor of law at the University of Texas School of Law and at the University of Nevada, Reno, College of Business Administration.

Thomas earned her law degree from the University of Houston School of Law.
