Kimberly Elliott has been promoted to marketing director for the Nevada Commission on Economic Development.
Elliott, who joined the Commission on Economic Development in 2002, previously served as prospect manager for the agency. She also has spearheaded the Made in Nevada program.
Before joining the commission, Elliott headed the Patrician Group, a graphic design firm in Reno, served as personal secretary to Gov. Bob Miller and managed the Reno Chamber Orchestra for two seasons. She also spent 10 years in corporate communications for Chevron Corp.
Elliott holds a bachelor's degree in English from California State University, Sacramento, and earned a master's degree in business administration from Golden Gate University in 2005.
