Nevada State Contractors Board has disciplined five northern Nevada contractors.
The license of Restoration Construction of Sun Valley was revoked after the board found the company failed to pay for materials and services, as well as other violations. The company also was ordered to pay investigative costs and restitution to homeowners.
The license of Stonecoat Inc. of Carson City was suspended, and the company was ordered to pay investigative costs and $2,837 to homeowners. The board found the company's workmanship was substandard and found the company failed to meet financial responsibility standards.
Panda Bear Homes of Orem, Utah, which was doing business as Diamond Peak of Northern Nevada, was fined $11,750 and ordered to pay investigative costs. The board found that the company was in violation of numerous rules concerning disclosure of information to buyers and use of unlicensed subcontractors.
Reno Sunrooms was ordered to pay $2,000 to have another contractor complete repairs on a project after the board found the company's workmanship was substandard.
Wright Outdoor Center of Sparks was ordered to complete repairs on a job after the board found its workmanship was substandard.
