Daniel J. Forbush

Daniel J. Forbush, a certified public accountant, has been named chief financial officer of Reno-based General Metals Corp.

He also has been named to the board of the publicly held company.

Forbush was controller and chief financial officer of Glamis Gold in Reno from 1988 to 1999. He also has held mining-related positions with AMOCO, Tenneco and Arthur Andersen & Associates and most recently was chief financial officer and treasurer of a residential development company.
