As Reno-based CLP Resources continues to integrate its acquisition of Skilled Services Corp., it's possible that CLP will see some growth of its headquarters staff.
But no one can say for certain how many new employees might be needed in the Reno office as much of the company's attention has been spent on making sure the acquisition works at the branch-office level.
The acquisition of Florida-based Skilled Services Corp. by CLP Resources, a subsidiary of Labor Ready Inc., was concluded in late April. The company provides skilled tradespeople to the construction industry.
After combining branch locations in markets where both CLP and Skilled Services were operating, the company operates 88 locations in 25 states.
Cheryl McGinty, a spokeswoman for CLP Skilled Services, said the acquisition is projected to add between 50 and 75 administrative and managerial staff members to the company's ranks, both in branch locations and at the corporate office.
Mark Curtiss, who was president of Skilled Services, now serves as division vice president of CLP Resources.
