Systems of Nevada, a low-voltage contractor based in Sparks, was recognized last month with the First Alert Professional Community Service Award and the Life Safety Award by First Alert Professional Security Systems.
The awards recognize Systems of Nevada's work to fingerprint children and to educate families about child and fire safety.
