Nevada Magazine promotions

Joyce Hollister has been promoted to publisher of Nevada Magazine.

Tony deRonnebeck, Matt Brown and Charlie Johnston also have been promoted at the magazine, which is a division of the Nevada Commission on Tourism.

Hollister, an employee of Nevada magazine since 2001, most recently worked as editor of the publication.

deRonnebeck, who joined the magazine's staff two years ago, was promoted from production manager to art director. He is a graduate of Brown College in Minneapolis.

Brown, who joined the magazine's staff in 2006, was promoted from associate editor to editor. A graduate of California State University, Chico, he also has worked at the Reno Gazette-Journal and the Sierra Sun in Truckee.

Johnston, a 2006 journalism graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, was named associated editor. He previously was an intern at Nevada Magazine.
