Food Bank distribution center taking shape

Panattoni Construction has tilted the walls of the Food Bank of Nevada's 60,0000-square-foot distribution center at the Tahoe Reno Industrial Center.

The nonprofit expects to move from leased facilities in Sparks into the new building, which it will own, by late spring.

The Food Bank serves as a regional distribution center of food for the needy in all of northern Nevada and as well as counties of the eastern Sierra in California.
