Alex Shelton, a national sales manager for the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority, has been assigned to the Reno-based territory that includes California, northern Nevada, Oregon and Washington.
Before joining the RSCVA in October, Shelton was in national sales at the Sands Expo at The Venetian from 2002-2006.
He earned a degree from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, in hotel administration.
