Jan Bitz and Steve Brand have been promoted to managing partners of Mr. Electric of Reno, joining franchise president Bob Lord in operation of the company.
Bitz joined the Reno franchise as a part-time employee in 1999 and was promoted to fulltime office manager. She left the company in 2003 and returned in 2005 as office manager. Last July, she was named "office professional of the year" by The Dwyer Group, the parent company of Mr. Electric.
Brand joined Mr. Electric as a journeyman electrician in 1998. He has been service manager of the Reno franchise since 2002.
