Katie Leao has joined Western Nevada Community College as outreach coordinator, overseeing student recruitment. Leao previously worked at Lassen Community College in California as a counselor.
She earned a bachelor's degree in recreation management and a master's degree in counseling and student affairs, both from Northern Arizona University.
