Larry Harvey, executive vice president of John Ascauga's Nugget, has been elected chairman of the board of United Way of Northern Nevada and the Sierra as its board chair.
Other officers of the United Way board include Greg Krause, executive director of the Regional Transportation Commission, vice chair; Kim Mazeres, director of customer care at Truckee Meadows Water Authority, secretary; and Dennis Redmond, northern Nevada division vice president of Southwest Gas, treasurer. Terry McQuattie, vice president/regional sales manager for U.S. Bank of Nevada, is immediate past chair.
