Chamber recognition

Norman Dianda, president of Q&D Construction in Sparks, received the Raymond I. Smith Civic Leader of the Year Award from the Reno-Sparks Chamber of Commerce.

Recognized as volunteers of the year during the chamber's 104th Chamber Chair Luncheon were Shera Alberti-Annunzio, assistant director for professional development and certificate programs at University of Nevada, Reno, extended studies; Bob Rusk, chairman of Citizens for Private Enterprise; and Tom Petersen, an account executive for KOLO-TV.
