Rick Harris and Leigh Everson have been recognized as faculty members of the year at the northern Nevada campus of the University of Phoenix.
Harris, the director of the Washoe School District's Principal's Academy and the district's director of secondary education, teaches in the University's master's in education, administration and supervision program.
Everson teaches science at the UOP College of Arts and Sciences.
