The quarterly oil and gas lease sale conducted by the Bureau of Land Management at its state office in Reno last week brought in $348,704 in bonus bids.
BLM offered leases on 112 parcels totaling 200,725 acres. It sold leases on 55 of those parcels totaling 106,597 acres.
The federal agency said the highest-valued parcel brought in $28,160, and the highest bid per acre was $16.
The parcels were located primarily in Eureka, Elko and White Pine Counties.
BLM received $32,460 in bonus bids for 8,695 acres during its March 2007 quarterly competitive sale.
