Nominations are open for the 23rd Annual Governor's Industry Appreciation Awards. The awards recognize new businesses that have moved to greater Reno-Tahoe and existing companies in the region that experienced substantial growth.
Nominations forms are due July 30 and are available at www.edawn.org/event/gianc.cfm.
The awards banquet will be Nov. 1 at the Grand Sierra Resort. It's co-sponsored by the Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada and the Northern Nevada Development Authority in cooperation with the Nevada Commission on Economic Development.
