Miranda Adams, a registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Renown Regional Medical Center, was named the February recipient of the DAISY Award for Extraordinary Nurses. The national award recognizes nurses who provide exceptional care.
Adams graduated from the Orvis School of Nursing at the University of Nevada, Reno, with a bachelor's degree in 2000. She is pursuing a master's degree in nursing at UNR.
