Patagonia earns gold LEED

Patagonia's Reno Service Center became the first building in Nevada to earn a gold-level Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) award from the U.S. Green Building Council.

Nationwide, 171 buildings hold the gold LEED. The Patagonia center was designed by Tate Snyder Kimsey Architects of Reno.

Patagonia, known for environmental activism, is headquartered at Ventura, Calif.
