Rebecca Venis been named special events manager by the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority.
Venis most recently worked at the Bauserman Group as a public relations and project manager.
Her 15 years of experience also includes sales and marketing positions at Citadel Broadcasting, the Reno Gazette-Journal, Microflex Corp. and Ikon Office Solutions.
