Ann Louhela of Sparks, president of the Nevada Certified Farmers Market Association and former manager of the Sparks Hometowne Farmers Market, was one of three finalists for the Farmers' Market Manager of the Year award by the North American Farmers' Direct Marketing Association.
Louhela became manager of the Sparks Hometowne Farmers Market in 2003 and held the job for three years. The market is the largest in Nevada.
