Christopher Askin, executive director of the Community Foundation of Western Nevada, was recognized as the 2007 Outstanding Fundraising Professional by the Associated Fundraising Professionals Sierra Chapter.
Since he joined the foundation in 2000, its assets have grown to $40 million from less than $1 million.
