Sundt Construction launches Reno office

Sundt Construction Inc., has opened a branch in Reno that's staffed with former employees of Krump Construction.

The office is overseeing preconstruction services for two large resort hotels in the Mammoth, Calif., area and is pursuing other resort-hotel work in northern Nevada and northern California.

Sundt Construction, the 65th largest construction company in the United States, is based at Tempe, Ariz. It struck a strategic deal this summer with Krump, a Reno contractor since 1967. In that deal, the two companies said, Krump's staff was kept intact, but new jobs were taken on under the Sundt name.
