Yonas Gebeyehu Tesfaye, Theresa Jones and Kathleen Hale have joined the staff of The PBS&J Corp. in Reno,
Gebeyehu Tesfaye has been named water resource engineer for the engineering consulting firm.
He has 15 years experience in engineering and teaching. He holds a doctorate in hydrology from the University of Nevada, Reno, a master's degree in hydropower development, and a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Jones joined PBS&J as a project manager.
She has 11 years experience as an engineer and most recently worked as a senior hydraulic engineer for the Department of Transportation, where she managed the Department's Lake Tahoe Environmental Improvement Program.
She earned a master's degree in hydrology from UNR and holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
Hale was hired to lead the new public outreach group in the Reno office.
She has more than 15 years experience in engineering, marketing and public outreach, including work for the Nevada Department of Transportation and as a consultant on the Reno ReTRAC project.
Hale earned a bachelor's degree in journalism from University of Nevada, Reno.
