Three northern Nevada contractors were disciplined last week by the Nevada State Contractors Board.
The contractors license of 3 N 1 Construction of Dayton was suspended and the company was reprimanded.
The board bound that 3 N 1 failed to pay for materials or services, misrepresented the facts in a case and failed to establish financial responsibility. It was ordered to pay investigative costs and $4,820 in restitution to the damaged party.
Dream Creations of Reno, which does business as DC Builders, was fined $10,000 and ordered to pay investigative costs. It also faces a two-year suspension of its general building license.
The board said Dream Creations disregarded construction plans and failed to comply with the terms of a construction contract.
Herbst Station Repair Inc. of Yerington was fined $4,000 and ordered to pay investigative costs.
Its workmanship on a job was substandard, the board said, and it failed to meet several other state requirements.
