John Fallini has been named chief financial officer of Altair Nanotechnologies in Reno.
He succeeds Edward Dickinson, who will fill the newly created position of senior director for programs and contracts.
Fallini previously worked as CFO of Alloptic Inc. of Livermore, Calif. He also has worked at Butterfield & Butterfield and for Pacific Bell.
He is an engineering graduate of UCLA and earned a master's degree in finance from Oklahoma City University.
