Mark Lewis, administrator of the Reno Redevelopment Agency, received the California Redevelopment Association's award of excellence in community revitalization for work in his previous job.
Lewis oversaw redevelopment of the site of a former steel mill in Union City into a mix-use, transit-oriented community.
