The Nevada State Contractors Board revoked the contractors license of DA Development Inc. of Minden.
The board said DA Development failed to pay its bills and failed to establish financial responsibility. DA
Development also was fined $2,000 and told to make reimbursement to customers who were damaged.
In a second case, the board revoked the license of Zorro Inc., which does business as Cabinet Facers & Kitchen Concepts in Reno, and disciplined Fox Interiors, a painting contractor in Reno. The companies completed projects with substandard workmanship, didn't correct it and acted beyond the scope of their licenses, the board said.
In another Reno investigation, the board cited Jorge Ramirez, who does business as General Handy Man & House Maintenance, for unlicensed contracting and advertising without a contractors license. Ramirez submitted a bid for electrical work in a sting operation operated by the board.
