Power-pole firm honored

Nevada Wood Preserving, a company in Silver Springs that treats power poles and cross arms, was recognized by Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal for its work in expediting supplies to assist in the state's recovery after Hurricanes Gustav and Ike.
