Daniel Coming, Nevada's first Millennium Scholar to graduate, has been hired as an assistant research visualization scientist at the Desert Research Institute's Center for Advanced Visualization, Computation and Modeling.
Coming began his studies at the University of Nevada, Reno, in 2000 and finished his undergraduate degree in just two years. He earned master's and doctoral degrees in computer science from the University of California, Davis.
