Fayth Ross has been named outreach administrator for the Desert Research Institute's GreenPower Program, which promotes use of renewable energy in Nevada schools.
Ross, who has taught at both the K-12 and university level, previously worked three years at Altair Nanotechnologies in Reno.
She earned a bachelor's degree in technical writing and a master's degree in theory and practice of writing from Utah State University.
