Gena Jones of the University of Nevada, Reno, has been elected director of the Nevada State Council of the Society of Human Resource Management. Mike Rainey of Truckee Meadows Community College was chosen as director-elect.
Other northern Nevadans named as leaders of the state council are Laura Dickey of the City of Reno, workforce readiness director; Jack Eastwick of Expert System, state conference chair; Jason Guinasso of Littler & Mendelson P.C., state legislative director; Anastasia Sefchick of Truckee Meadows Community College, diversity director; Yvonne Stedham of UNR, college relations director; Gail Aldrich of The Aldrich Partnership, foundation director; Cindy Davis of REMSA, chapter president of the Northern Nevada Human Resources Association; and Jim Peckham, chapter president of the Sierra Nevada Human Resource Association in Carson City.
