Mining company buys water

General Moly, a Denver-area company, said last week it's acquired rights to more than 15,630 acre-feet of groundwater, most of it in the Kobeh Basin of central Nevada, to meet the needs of the Mount Hope molybdenum mine it's developing near Eureka.
