Lobbyist firm moves to Reno
Sierra Strategies, formerly based in Las Vegas, has opened a Reno office at 527 Lander St.
Owner Lesley Pittman, a former executive of Station Casinos, bought the operating assets of Fisher Consulting, a government relations and strategic communications services firm in Reno.
Susan Fisher, who owned Fisher Consulting, is moving out of state. Leah Bradle, public policy director for Fisher Consulting, joined Sierra Strategies in the same role.
The company's clients include Station Casinos, Inc., MGM/MIRAGE, Reno Diagnostic Centers and the Nevada Rental Car Group.
Nichols hires Streamline
Streamline Consulting Associates LLC of Carson City has won a contract to provide project management workshops to Nichols Consulting Engineers, a civil and environmental engineering firm with offices in Reno, Lake Tahoe, Sacramento and Point Richmond, Calif. Streamline Consulting Associates is headed by Eileen Webb.
Pro Clean wins contracts
Pro Clean Maintenance Inc. of Reno has won janitorial contracts with WB Baseball, operated by Aaron Demosthenes, a scout for the Colorado Rockies, and Lawson Family Products.
CEVA finishes safety effort
The CEVA Freight Management branch at Patrick has completed the Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program of the consultation and training section of the Nevada Division of Industrial Relations.
Successful participants in the program receive a two-year exemption from OSHA's general schedule inspections.
Dickson ranks No. 85 in U.S.
Reno-based Dickson Realty is the 85th largest independent real estate company in the United States, according to the publishing company REAL Trends.
Dickson is 109th largest real estate firm in the nation by dollar sales volume, and 230th largest by numbers of transactions, REAL Trends said.
Renown recognition
Renown Health was named a Silver Winner for the 2008 Aster Awards for excellence in medical marketing. Renown won the award for "Reflections," its lifestyle magazine.
