Sentinel Real Estate Corp., the New York City company that owns Glendale East Business Park in Sparks, plans a slow-but-steady renewal of the project.
Gary Baker, president of The Baker Company of Reno, which recently won the leasing contract for the business park, said Sentinel plans to renovate and install new roofs on industrial spaces as they become vacant.
Fourteen individual buildings constructed in 1974 are included in the complex near Interstate 80 and
McCarran Boulevard. The buildings total about 252,000 square feet of industrial space.
Tenants, Baker said, include a mix of international, national and local companies involved in manufacturing, distribution and service.
"This is a location-driven project," he said, noting that industrial spaces in the 20,000-square-foot range remain in high demand in the Reno-Sparks area.
