Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada's Annual on April 24 at John Ascuaga's Nugget.
This is the first year EDAWN solicited the Greater Reno-Tahoe Best Places to Work nominations. Awards are based on employee nominations made on behalf of their employers. Employees from 126 local companies nominated their employers. The awards were open to any company with 15 or more full-time employees.
Keynote speaker Chris Weber, vice president for Microsoft, will discuss Microsoft's innovative, collaborative employee programs and culture.
The company has ranked high on Fortune magazine's "Best Companies to Work For" list for the past 11 years.
Weber leads a sales and marketing team of more than 300 who serve 555 enterprise clients and partners in 11 western states.
