Three agencies nab bulk of ADDY awards at annual advertising event

The Advertising Association of Northern Nevada (A2N2) handed out 190 ADDY Awards at its annual show this month.

R&R Partners took best of show for the mixed media "Walker Lake Stories" campaign, the result of a partnership with the Mineral County Economic Development Authority and the University of Nevada, Reno Small Business Development program.

It also took awards for the Walker Lake brochure, Nevada Museum of Art and Economic Development Association of Western Nevada.

The Glenn Group took best of show in Broadcast award for the Nevada Commission on Tourism "Impersonators" television spot, for photography for the commission's "Blue Man Photography" and for guerilla advertising for an agency recruitment piece.

CLM Design won awards for Web site design and logo work on behalf of Collaborative Design Studio, Hamilton Homes, La Amanezca, and the Truckee Tahoe Airport District.

Jeff Dow Photography took awards for work on the "Walker Lake Stories" campaign and for Silver Legacy, Odyssey and Northstar.

The Estipona Group took an award for art direction on the Reno Philharmonic "Greatest Hits Campaign.
