Ken Brunk has been named senior vice president and chief operating officer of Romarco Minerals Inc. of Sparks.
Brunk previously headed a team conducting a feasibility study of a Romarco mining property in South Carolina. He also has worked as president and chief executive officer of Harrison Western Group and as an executive with Newmont Mining and Bateman Engineering.
He holds a degree in metallurgical engineering from Michigan Tech.
