General Metals Corp. of Reno raised $101,000 through a private placement of 1.38 million restricted common shares, and it also sold warrants that allow purchase of another 690,500 of its shares during the next 24 months. It issued another 521,000 shares to cover a director's fees and investor-relations services. Those shares were valued by the publicly held company at $39,000.
