UNR journalism school dean's council

Fourteen business and government executives will serve on the Dean's Council of The Reynolds School of Journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Robin Joyce, president/owner of Joyce & Associates in Las Vegas, will serve as chairman for a three-year term.

Other members of the Dean's Council are Julie Ardito, director of public relations for Economic Development Authority of Western Nevada; Linda Faiss, president of Faiss, Foley, Warren; Greg Ferraro, owner of The Ferraro Group; Sherm Frederick, president of Stephens Media Group; Valerie Glenn, president and chief executive officer of The Glenn Group; Stephanie Kruse, president and CEO of KPS/3; Bruce Marr, Lone Wolf Productions; Manny Martinez, vice president and general manager for Charter Communications; Karole Morgan-Prager, vice president and general counsel for The McClatchy Co.; Marlene Olsen, president and CEO of Olsen & Associates Public Relations; Ted Power, publisher and editor of the Reno Gazette-Journal; Verita Black Prothro, district director for U.S. Representative Dean Heller and Barry Smith, executive director of the Nevada Press Association.
