Edie Hofmeister has joined the Nevada Museum of Art as senior associate director of development, and Alexia Bratiotis rejoined the museum's staff as director of communications and marketing.
Bratiotis worked for the museum during its grand opening in 2003, then worked nearly four years as a public relations business partner for Renown Health before returning to the museum.
She earned a bachelor's degree in journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno.
Hofmeister, an attorney with 16 years of experience, previously worked as general counsel at the Western Asbestos Settlement Trust and worked at Brobeck, Phelger and Harrison LLP in San Francisco from 1993-2001.
Hofmeister received a bachelor's degree in international relations from UCLA, a master's degree in international studies from the University of Notre Dame, and a law degree from the University of San Francisco.
